This is the card I made for today:)

CAMINALO!!....

When I was thinking about the card I wanted to make, I thought that since I am representing my beautiful Island of Puerto Rico I might as well make a card that had all the warmth and beauty of my Caribbean Paradise. So I made a card with flowers because they remind me of our great Rain Forest. I dedicate this post to my island…to my people, who are suffering with the rest of the world the effects of a weak economy and the devaluation of many moral values, but at the same time still have a great amount of love and compassion. The message in the card is a paragraph of a popular song that says “If I hadn’t been born in this island, I would have many regrets of not having been born here”. The song is all about the love for the country in which you were born, that song applies to each one of us and it has a rhythm that makes you want to start dancing right away. So this card is for my family, my friends, my people and for the rest of the world.
Enjoy!!

Moxie Fab World ;) Gradient is Radiant Challenge

Hola,

Hi,

it’s been a while since my last post. Life has been a little complicated. I've been having a lot of work at the office which especially in these days is a blessing and I thank God for that. In addition we have been painting and remodeling a few things at home in order to be ready for the holidays. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

Today is my DH 40th birthday. Since he is a fan of remote control cars, I made him this card which he loved ;) To make the road I used Petal Soft. I have several colors of this product and to be honest had never used them until now. I loved the effect and the dimension that it gave to the card, so I think there will be more colors in the way. The stamp is from Little Paper Shop.

Last week I discovered the Moxie Fab World blog. I love it! And love the fact that she always have great challenges that gets us out of our comfort zone. Since my husband almost always uses gradient colors to paint his RC cars bodies, I decided that the image on this card was perfect for this challenge. I loved the results an so did he ;)

Well, now I will continue my work. Remember to stop by during the week because there are going to be a few surprises and blog candy next Saturday to celebrate the World Card Making Day.

Take care and have a nice day!
